Skilled Labourer – Jewelbic Building

Join the Jewelbic Building team as a Skilled Labourer, working across residential extensions and renovations.

The Jewelbic Building team specialises in larger residential renovations, extensions and building projects.

We’re looking for skilled labourer or carpenter who enjoy hands-on construction work and want to be involved in projects from demolition and preparation through to construction and completion.

About the Role

Responsibilities may include:

Assisting carpenters, builders and other trades
Carpentry and general construction work
Assisting with extensions and larger renovations
Demolition and strip-out works
Loading, unloading and moving materials
General labouring and site preparation
Maintaining clean, safe and organised sites
Following direction from supervisors and project managers
Working safely and to a high standard

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

Experienced in construction, building or carpentry
A qualified carpenter or skilled labourer
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Physically fit and capable of manual work
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Safety conscious with a good attitude
Keen to develop their skills and take pride in their work

Requirements:

White Card
Driver’s licence and reliable transport
Previous construction/site experience
Carpentry experience or qualifications highly regarded

He was very personable, worked hard all day and did a very high quality job, he cleaned up and explained the work that was done. We have nothing but praise for the way Jewelbic Brothers managed the renovations to our living area, kitchen, en-suite and second bathroom. From our first contact with Kyle to the final handover we were able to plan our lives around the process. Throughout the journey we were impressed with planning from the scope of the work, the selection of fittings and appliances through to the demolition and reconstruction of our spaces. Matt managed the work efficiently, kept us informed of the planned work for each week and regularly visited our home to check on progress and the quality of work. Any variations along the way were easily accommodated. The tradesmen who worked on the renovation were very approachable and did work of a high standard. The work was completed in a timely manner and the disruption to us was kept to a bearable level. We are extremely happy with the finished product and are now enjoying living in our new surrounds.
